This item is really wonderful! I am very happy with it! It is well-made and I feel confident with my bike en route to anywhere for however long a distance on the Schwinn 2-Bike Trunk Mount Rack and would highly recommend it to anyone. It is very affordable too!

Bought this at Target for $40. Opened the box and found a vehicle compatibility guide and a referral to saris website. It seems to be the same as the Saris Sentinel 2 bike. I was a little concerned since I had never used a rack before and this one did not have side straps, just top and bottom. Instructions say to check it in 30 miles and then every 200. Took it 1250 miles from Omaha to Boise using a Pontiac Vibe with one bike on it. Never had to tighten a strap. Very happy with it for only $40. 4 stars because I don't know if having two bikes on it would have a negative effect.
Good Product

I purchased this item from Target and after coming home and reading the majority of reviews posted here, I was skeptical about even attempting to use it. However, I did and I did not have any problems at all. I did have to use my caveman skills to "read" the picture instructions, but once figured out is oh so simple. I mounted two 26" bikes - one with a straight frame and an angled frame. Tips: Note that the angled frame will sit awkward on the rack, but that is normal. Also, be sure to knot the straps near the buckles once you have secured the rack to the trunk - this will prevent any loosening of the straps.
My only complaint is that the product appears to be cheaply made and lacking that extra security one would assume to have with such a product. I would be weary of distant traveling, but I can also doctor it up to make it work! All-in-all... good product and reasonably priced.
