Installation of the Thule Insta-Gater bike rack in the truck bed is done by simply opening the tailgate, setting the carrier on the pickup truckbed with the Insta-Gator tailgate anchor between the tailgate and the bed, and closing the tailgate. The ratcheting straps easily secure the bicycle carrier in place, there are absolutely no other adjustments that need to be hassled with.
Lock your bike inside the bike rack using a Thule lock cylinder (not included; see accessory add-ons below).
